Candle Care and Safety
CANDLE CARE
Burn your candle for 3 - 4 hours at a time so that you achieve a full melt pool right to the edges of your container. This will help prevent tunnelling which leaves some of the wax around the sides of the container.
Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn to prevent smoking.
Keep the wax pool clear of any debris.
HOW TO REFILL YOU POT
Remove the tissue paper from your refill.
You will find the CLP label which you can stick on the bottom of your pot.
Light your candle and enjoy - it will melt into your pot as it burns.
Stop burning your candle when there is 1cm of wax remaining and let it set.
Sit your pot in a bowl of hot water. This will soften the wax enough for you to remove it.
Wipe it out with some kitchen paper then wash with warm soapy water.
Dry your pot, pop in your new refill and enjoy all over again!
SAFETY
Always read your clp label before use.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Always burn candles out of the reach of children and pets.
Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles and do not burn them near anything that could catch fire.
Only burn a candle on a level, fire resistant surface.
Our refills have been created to burn safely in our pots - we cannot guarantee they will burn safely in any other container - please only use our refills with our pots.
When your candle burns down to 1cm it is time to stop. Remove the wax from the pot and clean it out ready for a new refill.
